How long it takes to charge the Tesla Model 3 varies based on which version of the Model 3 you purchase, its battery size, and the type of charging station you charge at. The Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive has a 57.5 kWh usable battery capacity, while the Model 3 Long Range and Performance both have a 75 kWh usable battery capacity.

At an AC charging station, you can expect to charge all versions of the Model 3 at a maximum power of 11 kW. This means you can charge the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive from 0 to 100 percent in approximately 6 hours and 15 minutes, and the Model 3 Long Range and Performance from 0 to 100 percent in 8 hours and 15 minutes

As for charging at a DC fast charging station, the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive can charge at a maximum power of 170 kW, the Long Range at a maximum power of 250 kW, and the Performance at a maximum power of 210 kW. This means you can charge the Model 3 Rear-Wheel Drive from 10 to 80 percent in 25 minutes, the Model 3 Long Range from 10 to 80 percent in 27 minutes, and the Model 3 Performance from 10 to 80 percent in 30 minutes.
